CHEESUS token enables Cheesus users to participate in platform governance and decide on its future.

Cheesus allows users to discuss and accept changes to the entire economic model. They can organize votes concerning such aspects as:

Thus, Cheesus users can vote for literally any change to its infrastructure, services and economic mechanisms. The core development team does its best to provide users with useful services and stable profits but we are open to new suggestions and offers. On-chain governance allows users to collaborate, debate and manage the system more efficiently.

Rules & Conditions

By introducing a transparent and fully audited voting process, Cheesus aims to reach a high degree of accountability. The following rules help us make the governance process fair and efficient:

  1. ALL users are eligible for voting, regardless of the amount of CHEESUS they hold. This allows us to preserve the decentralized nature of Cheesus and avoid the majority of voting power being concentrated in the hands of the team.
  2. Voting power is equal and does NOT depend on the amount of CHEESUS stored. That also prevents the core dev team from manipulating the smart contracts’ dynamic parameters.
  3. At the same time, governance proposals can only be submitted by users who own at least 0.5% of the CHEESUS supply. Their submissions are first checked by the administrators or project representatives to avoid spam and malicious actions.
  4. Voting requires burning some CHEESUS - that further enhances our deflationary tokenomics model.
  5. The Snapshot voting platform is connected to the blockchain. The voted-in changes are introduced on the smart contract with a one day delay, to allow people who might disagree with the change to decide whether they’re willing to continue using the platform or not.

100% Transparency

Since all votes are organized on Snapshot, they take place on a blockchain and stay recorded there. Voting reports can be accessed any time, reassuring users of the credibility of the results. Cheesus will store the history of votes with the related details. Each vote (transaction) can be tracked via Etherscan.
